About The Position

The Registered Nurse Clinical Research Coordinator III is responsible for performing research studies under the medical supervision of the Principal Investigator and research director. This role oversees successful study implementation and ongoing site management. It may also include clinic coverage when research staff are away, precepting new research staff in clinics, and assisting with projects assigned by the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator III. The position requires travel to investigator meetings and clinics. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory background screening and drug testing. New hires must receive required vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, unless an exemption is approved.

Requirements

Valid RN license in the state of employment.
At least one year of oncology or clinical research experience, or at least five years of combined clinical oncology and clinical research experience.
Effective communication skills.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong patient advocacy.
Availability to travel to investigators' meetings.
Valid driver's license in the state of residency for travel to clinics.
Successful completion of required background and drug screenings as a condition of employment.
Receipt of required new-hire vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, unless an exemption is approved.

Responsibilities

Precept new research staff in clinics, as needed.
