RN Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Manager Burn ICU
About The Position
Lead daily operations, nursing workflow and staffing for the Burn ICU within the Burn Care Center, supporting patients with complex burn injuries through every stage of critical care. Hire, coach and develop nurses, building a skilled team that provides compassionate, specialized care to patients and families. Partner with physicians and other disciplines to address barriers to care and support coordinated treatment across the Burn Care Center. Advance quality and safety through clinical policies, performance monitoring, and compliance with regulatory and Burn Care Center accreditation requirements. Manage staffing and resources responsibly while supporting a positive experience for patients, families and associates.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
- Must have recent Burn ICU experience
- Must have charge and/or preceptor experience
- Must have previous leadership experience (supervisory, Lead, Charge and/or Preceptor experience).
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BSN strongly preferred for leadership role
- Prefer minimum of 3 years experience in critical care nursing, ICU and Hemodynamic Monitoring
- Prefer experience with Infection Control and Wound Care
