About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Clinical Lead in the Ortho/Trauma department at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. The position is full-time and involves night shifts. The Clinical Lead will be responsible for directing nursing staff to ensure peak performance and optimal patient care delivery. This includes exercising independent judgment to optimize workflows, services, and patient care, designing acuity-based assignments, maintaining unit productivity, managing operational variances, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources and supplies. The role also involves contributing to unit culture through staff training, performance coaching, and input on hiring.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
