Registered Nurse Clinic RN - Cardiology Heart Failure
About The Position
Provides competent clinical nursing practice across the life-span, facilitates transitions across care settings, and coordinates care delivery with other disciplines for improving patient care quality outcomes as well as decreasing unnecessary utilization and associated costs across patient populations and health care settings. Daily ambulatory nursing practice performance primarily is focused on telephonic patient triage, patient education, direct care interventions, collaborative leadership and care coordination. Heart Failure RN- must be comfortable starting IV's and administering SQ and IV medication. May occasionally need to give IV Lasix in the office. Must be comfortable with telephone triage and learning about different cardiac devices, HF monitoring devices, and HF medications.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Relevant Experience
- PA Registered Nurse License
- NRP Certification
- BLS Certification
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- General Clerical Skills
- Keyboarding
- Microsoft Office Applications
