About The Position

This role involves delivering high-quality direct nursing care by following established clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient safety and comfort. The nurse will execute and adapt individualized care plans while continuously monitoring patient progress to achieve the best possible health outcomes. Key responsibilities include tracking and communicating vital health changes in real-time to the care team, coordinating multidisciplinary care teams as the primary point of contact, and championing the discharge planning process from admission to transition to guarantee safe and successful patient returns home.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

  • Holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a strong foundation in clinical and administrative operations, including precise note documentation, vaccine administration, and medical phone etiquette
