About The Position

This role involves providing nursing care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, and adolescents. The professional caregiver assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame, providing quality care and assisting in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Hold current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing
• 1 or more years of experience as an RN
• Current CPR certification required

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Must obtain PALS certification within 1 year of employment
• Demonstrate advanced and mature critical thinking and assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care provided for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, and adolescents
• Act as a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, for a designated time frame, and provides quality care to these patients
