About The Position

This role involves leading and mentoring frontline nursing and support teams, providing real-time guidance and education to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality clinical care. The position orchestrates daily unit operations by strategically assigning patient care duties, ensuring that staff strengths are matched with the specific needs of our patient population. The Registered Nurse Charge will champion clinical excellence by continuously evaluating the effectiveness of care plans and proactively identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes. This role also involves resolving complex care challenges and patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, acting as a bridge between families and the clinical team to maintain trust and satisfaction. Additionally, the role cultivates a high-performing team through active participation in staff development, performance evaluations, and the onboarding of new talent to maintain our standard of excellence.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
