About The Position

The Registered Nurse Charge RN will work full-time nights in the ER Department at Texas Health Azle. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through nursing education, research, and innovations in nursing practice. The department offers a team-based environment, great benefits, and a supportive culture with outstanding opportunities for growth. Texas Health Azle is a community-based hospital serving the suburban areas of Azle, Lake Worth, Springtown, and surrounding areas. It is a Level IV trauma center accredited in Chest Pain Management and was recognized as a 2013 National 100 Top Hospital by Truven Health Analytics.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 Days.
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 Months.
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
