About The Position

This position will perform duties as an experienced dialysis registered nurse. This position is responsible for the management and administration of the in-center hemodialysis program for patients who choose this modality of treatment for End Stage Renal Disease as well as supervision for home dialysis patients. Additionally, this position is responsible for the supervision of the nursing care delivered by the dialysis staff.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing or a current multi-state license.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • One year of experience in the Medical option.
  • Possession of a current motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland (if assigned duties requiring automobile operation).
  • Successful completion of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training and maintenance of current certification (may be required).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited college or university (may substitute for one year of general experience).
  • Master's degree in nursing or a health-related field from an accredited college or university (may substitute for the required experience).
  • U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nursing classifications or Nursing and Hospital Administration specialty codes in the Nursing field of work (may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis).
