About The Position

Provide professional nursing care for patient(s) and respective family according to established standards and practices. This role involves adhering to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines, performing all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization, and performing other duties as required and completing all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures. The nurse will maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility through self-education and attending ongoing educational programs, staff meetings, and mandatory in-services. Competency evaluations must be completed on time. The nurse must demonstrate competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, training and usage of age-specific customer service skills are required. Protective clothing and equipment must be worn as appropriate.

Requirements

  • 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
  • 1+ years Nursing Experience (Preferred)
