About The Position

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for the Catheterization Lab at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The nurse will assess, prepare, and position patients, perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring, and prepare, implement, and document the plan of care. Communication with the physician regarding the patient's condition before, during, and after procedures is essential. The role also includes performing and/or facilitating procedures, as well as setting up and providing necessary equipment and supplies.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

2 years of Critical Care Nursing or Interventional Radiology experience

Responsibilities
