About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Labs department at Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Evansville, IN. The nurse will deliver critical procedural care by monitoring patient stability, managing conscious sedation, and tracking hemodynamic data throughout cardiac interventions. They will guide patient care journeys through thorough assessment, preparation, and continuous documentation to ensure high-quality treatment and accurate clinical records. The nurse will also direct physician communication before, during, and after interventional procedures to immediately address shifts in patient status and ensure real-time team alignment. Additionally, they will maintain lab readiness by preparing advanced equipment and specialized medical supplies to drive smooth, safe procedural flow.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
