About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Cath Lab at Edward Hospital in Naperville. This is a full-time position, working 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. The role involves providing professional nursing care, utilizing critical thinking to assess patients, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations. The nurse will also delegate patient care tasks and function as a team member to achieve unit goals. Call requirements include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date into position
• 1+ year of Cath Lab experience (for sign-on bonus)

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Employs critical thinking skills to assess patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
