About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Cath Lab at an Acute Care Hospital. The role requires 2 years of experience in a 2-room lab setting within a 250-bed facility. Candidates can be either an IR RN or a Cath Lab RN. Sedation skills are required. The position involves shift work any day Monday-Friday with weekend call duties, including one weekend per month (Friday-Sunday PM) and one additional weekday per week. The hospital is a MAGNET-designated facility with 426 total staffed beds. Charting is done via Epic. Free parking is available.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a lab setting (IR RN or Cath Lab RN)
- Experience in a 250-bed facility
- Sedation skills
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- CCI RCES or CCI RCIS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Epic experience (highly preferred for Cath Lab RN, required for IR RN)
- Must have two years of lab experience if a first-timer
Nice To Haves
- Epic experience (highly preferred for Cath Lab RN)
Responsibilities
- Administer sedation
