About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab - Procedural department at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Day l Full-time | 4x10s with rotating call. The nurse will implement and champion personalized care plans, monitor and interpret patient data, lead the multidisciplinary care team, execute physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge transitions.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

ICU or Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and champion personalized care plans that drive patient recovery and ensure safety at every stage of the medical journey.
Monitor and interpret patient data to proactively communicate status changes, ensuring the medical team can provide timely, life-saving interventions.
Lead the multidisciplinary care team as a central coordinator to guarantee that every department—from pharmacy to therapy—is aligned with the patient’s needs.
Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, serving as the critical link between clinical strategy and direct patient recovery.
Coordinate seamless discharge transitions by collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patients have a clear, safe, and supported path home.
