About The Position
Ascension St. Vincent's St. John's County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Cath Lab. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The role involves assessing, preparing, and positioning patients for procedures, performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring, preparing and documenting the plan of care, communicating patient condition to physicians, and performing/facilitating diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures.
- Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
- Prepare, implement, and document plan of care.
- Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
- Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
