This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab renders professional nursing care to patients, supporting medical staff objectives and hospital policies. The role involves direct and indirect nursing care, including patient monitoring, evaluation of lab work, and continuous monitoring of vital signs. Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to patients in the CathLab, in support of medical care directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital.
• Performs a variety of duties involving patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Includes patient monitoring, evaluation of lab work and continuous monitoring of vital signs.
• Directs age specific nursing activities during emergency situations.
