About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. This role involves assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, performing various patient tests, and administering medications within the scope of practice. The RN will promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude. The role typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • BLS certification
  • NRP and STABLE certification
  • COAP and Suicide Prevention course
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS and PALS certification preferred
