About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking experienced Registered Nurse Case Managers (RN) to provide Workers' Compensation case management services throughout Aurora, CO, with additional needs in Denver, Centennial, Littleton, and Castle Rock. This opportunity is ideal for experienced field case managers who enjoy working independently, building professional relationships, and helping injured workers navigate the recovery process while achieving positive return-to-work outcomes. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor, field-based role with a flexible schedule. The role involves no bedside care, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. The IMA Group's Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies. Their Payer Services Division meets the evaluation and screening needs of Carriers, TPAs, Public Entities and Employers. Their Clinical Research Division performs clinical trials.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license
  • Minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation Field Case Management experience
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple cases
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally

Nice To Haves

  • CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or related certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate medical care and treatment plans for injured workers
  • Attend medical appointments and provide field case management services
  • Monitor treatment progress and identify barriers to recovery
  • Communicate with physicians, adjusters, employers, attorneys, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and support return-to-work plans
  • Prepare timely, detailed case reports and documentation
  • Manage an independent caseload throughout the assigned territory
