About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit. The RN will care for patients who have undergone cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including open heart and thoracic lung surgeries. There is an expectation to manage overflow medical cardiology patients.
Requirements
- Stepdown experience
- Telemetry experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications
Responsibilities
- Epidural management
- Chest tube management
- Tube feedings
- IV gluccomander
- Cardiac gtt management including various medications
