About The Position
The CVOR RN provides specialized nursing care in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes in a 1:1 ratio setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year CVOR experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree)
- Active New York RN License
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- On-call required (minimum 7 days per 4-week schedule, including weekdays and weekends)
- Travel candidates must reside outside 75-mile radius
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC & Omnicell
Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor and manage patient status during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
- Float as needed based on census
