About The Position

Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity in Cardiac Care? Join our dynamic team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care in the fast-paced environment of our Cardiovascular ICU. Position Highlights: Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible position! Shift Schedule: Full time, Nights, 7pm – 7am Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center

Requirements

  • Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate care, placing patients and their families at the center of every decision.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan interventions, and coordinate care to promote optimal health and wellbeing in accordance with the policies of WFBH.
  • Create a secure and healing environment by safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring responsive, respectful, accepting, and professional behavior.
  • Embrace technology and equipment to enhance patient and staff safety.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among the healthcare team, facilitating information sharing throughout the continuum of care.

  • Coordinate the effective and efficient delivery of patient care services by applying care management principles.
