About The Position
Provides specialized nursing care in a 48-bed specialized progressive care unit. Cares for complex cardiovascular surgical patients, including transplant, CABG, and VAD recipients. Manages post-op care for peripheral vascular procedures and renal transplants. Monitors thoracic surgery patients, including VATS, robotic procedures, and resections. Maintains 1:3 to 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios with Patient Care Technician support.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
