About The Position
This position provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions, serving as a primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care, and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Additionally, the nurse will assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND Required professional licensure at time of hire.
