About The Position
University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake & South Lake Union has an outstanding opportunity for a per-diem REGISTERED NURSE (RN) in the outpatient ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY AND CARDIOLOGY CLINIC. This position offers a 0% FTE, per-diem Day Shift, Monday - Friday schedule, with no weekends or holiday shifts, promoting work-life balance. The Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake & SLU provides a full range of heart healthcare and prevention services. This role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate, support, and optimize the medical care of a complex patient population. The position is conveniently located near public transportation and offers opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- Current BLS and ACLS
- 2 years of outpatient or inpatient Cardiology/Tele experience
Responsibilities
- Float between different Sub-Specialties of the clinic and our Echo procedural area.
- Manage patients undergoing different Echocardiogram and Stress tests and performing Definity and Bubble Studies as indicated.
- Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiologists, surgeons, interventionalists, other sub-specialty nurses, advanced practice providers, research team, and administrative staff to coordinate, support, and optimize the medical care of our complex patient population.
