Registered Nurse- Cardiac 0.9FTE 7pm-7:30am
About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position on a 32-bed Cardiac Unit specialized in patients with complex heart conditions. The unit cares for patients with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, post-cardiac catheterization and procedural care, and post-cardiac surgery recovery. Nurses provide continuous cardiac monitoring with patient ratios of 4-5, collaborating closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
