Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Unit 2 West Part-Time
About The Position
Sentara is currently hiring an RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Cardiac Unit 2 West. This is a part-time, nightshift position. 2 West is a 34-bed medicine unit with a primary cardiac focus. Our team works with hospitalists and cardiologists to care for congestive heart failure, angina, STEMI/NSTEMI and arrhythmia patients. We admit patients who have just undergone cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, ablations, and cardioversions. The team is described as amazing and diverse, committed to excellent patient care and patient satisfaction, working well together and having fun. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State Registered Nursing License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school
