About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL. The position is part-time and scheduled for the night shift. The salary range is $39.75 - $56.11 per hour. The nurse will provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care among disciplines, and execute physician and nursing orders. This includes assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Previous nursing experience for part-time positions

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care following established organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
Implement, monitor, record, and communicate patient care plans and condition changes
Coordinate all disciplines as the primary point of contact for well-coordinated patient care
Execute physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs
