About The Position

This fast-paced 50-bed unit specializes in Cardiac Telemetry, caring for patients with a variety of complex cardiac diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, and A Fib. The unit also cares for post open-heart surgical patients and some post-cardiac interventional procedures (cardiac cath, pacemakers). The unit also has a designated area for observation patients. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS within 6 months of hire
1 year minimum of Telemetry or Medical/Surgical nursing experience
