About The Position

Provides age-appropriate nursing care to patients as follows: Adult and Geriatric Medical-Surgical Patients – Surgical, Medical, Telemetry, Cardiac Rehab, or Oncology. Infant Patients – Level II Nursery. Infant through Adult – Birthing Center. Infant through Geriatric – Pediatrics, ED, Surgical Suite, Critical Care. Adult and Geriatric Psychiatric Patients – Adult Psychiatry and Commitment Psychiatry.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
• BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.
• CCU, Telemetry, or equivalent experience required.
• Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
