Requirements
- Currently licensed and registered in NY State to practice as a registered professional nurse.
- Successful completion of BLS Provider Course.
- Successfully completes cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course within three months of hire.
- Maintains all required certifications for the areas assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
- Cardiology/Telemetry experience preferred.
- ACLS prior to hire preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implementing the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice
- Ensuring all patient care policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with Garnet Health Medical Center Hospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and the New York State Licensure requirements.
- Exhibiting critical thinking, effectively organizing/prioritizing accordingly, and implementing evidence-based nursing.
