About The Position

Ascension Seton Highland Lakes in Burnet, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Cardiac Rehabilitation department. This is a full-time, day shift position. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, serving as a primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
