About The Position

Join our dynamic nursing team at 3 South, a 32-bed Step Down ICU/Progressive Unit, seeking a passionate Registered Nurse for our Weekend Program Night Shift. This unit cares for patients with moderate to high acuity diagnoses including cardiac arrhythmias, elevated troponin, CHF, Live Vest, DM exacerbations, Chest Tubes, Peritoneal Dialysis, post interventional radiology procedures, and respiratory illness. Requirements

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to assess the needs of the patient, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
Includes the patient and family in planning and implementing care and develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum.
