Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Intervention (3300) - Dayshift
About The Position
The Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU) facilitates care to patients admitted for cardiac catheterization, elective coronary interventional procedures including PTCA, stent, atherectomy, electrophysiology testing and/or ablation, elective electrical cardioversion, permanent cardiac pacemaker or AICD implantation. The CIU's nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. The anticipated length of stay for these patients is less than 48 hours. The unit provides expert quality care to patients utilizing an interdisciplinary collaborative approach in an effort to return the patient to their highest level of wellness. The CIU is committed to providing healthcare that is unmatched in quality and convenience that is patient/family centered. New graduates are welcome.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- ADN required.
- Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, interprofessional care team and patients, and their families.
- Exceptional patient care assessment and unmatched customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Previous Telemetry or Cardiac experience preferred.
