About The Position

This is a part-time Registered Nurse position in the Cardiac Care Unit at High Point Medical Center. The unit is an 8-bed cardiac-focused intensive care unit that provides care to critically ill patients with cardiac diagnoses. Nursing staff work alongside multiple providers and care teams, implementing a multi-disciplinary care team approach for patients and families. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Greater than 1 year of RN experience
