About The Position

This role involves championing patient wellness by implementing and evolving personalized care plans, ensuring clinical interventions align with patient needs. The nurse will act as the voice of the patient by meticulously monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition, serving as a vital link between the bedside and the medical team. This position also involves clinical orchestration, acting as the primary coordinator across medical disciplines to deliver seamless, holistic care. Precision in execution is key, requiring a high degree of clinical expertise to interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders while maintaining high standards of safety and excellence. Additionally, the role includes empowering transitions by leading the discharge planning process, collaborating with the healthcare team to prepare patients and families for their return home.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
