Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN); BSN preferred.
• Active Indiana RN license or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Previous critical care nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Nice To Haves

• Cath Lab experience.
• Candidates with more than two years of acute care experience who graduated from a non-accredited nursing program may be considered, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Additional advanced life support certifications may be required based on department and specialty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the care continuum.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education, mentoring, and clinical decision-making.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to promote quality, safety, and operational excellence.
• Practice in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
