About The Position

The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians Applies Cooper core values Other duties as required. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is a dynamic, high-acuity environment where registered nurses play a pivotal role in delivering advanced cardiovascular care. Working alongside experienced interventional cardiologists, Cath Lab RNs assist with complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing state-of-the-art imaging and technology. As part of Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care, this team provides exceptional care to patients with intricate cardiac conditions. Nurses in this unit are integral members of a highly skilled, collaborative team committed to innovation, precision, and excellence in patient outcomes. Their responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring during procedures; taking call; documenting within the electronic medical record; and providing comprehensive education to support patient recovery.

Requirements

  • 1-year minimum critical care RN experience in an inpatient setting required
  • Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing
  • Current NJ-RN License
  • Current -BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • Current NJ - ACLS

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of critical care RN experience in an inpatient setting is preferred
