This role is critical in assisting providers and coworkers in coordinating patient care as well as functions as a liaison between patients, coworkers, and providers. Associate's Degree Required
Registered Nurse (RN) - Required

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, administering medications, vaccines, and injections, performing phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, starting IVs, assisting with procedures, conducting provider rounds, and completing medication reconciliation
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and internal and external partners through in-person, phone, and electronic communication
Utilize strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to support providers and patient care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses, medications, procedures, treatment plans, and chronic disease management
Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medication refill requests to ensure continuity of care
Foster a compassionate environment by providing emotional support and promoting a positive patient experience
