About The Position

This role involves providing direct nursing care to behavioral health patients. The nurse will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and monitor patient progress throughout treatment. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and updating individualized nursing care plans aligned with multidisciplinary treatment goals and patient needs. The nurse will also collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to participate in case conferences, revise treatment objectives, and coordinate patient-centered care. Additionally, the role involves facilitating therapeutic interventions, such as group therapy sessions, evaluating patient responses to treatment, and modifying care plans to support positive clinical outcomes.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
