About The Position
As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health, you will lead in coordinating and delivering compassionate, quality patient care. Using the nursing process, you'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while educating patients and their families. Your role is vital in ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. If ADN, must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date, obtain your BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience in any inpatient or behavioral health/mental health setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
- Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
- Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
