About The Position
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a 13-week contract to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. The ADON serves as a clinical leader, assisting with nursing supervision, quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and operational management while promoting a safe, efficient, and resident-centered care environment.
Requirements
- Current RN license required (state-specific as applicable)
- BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Previous Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or Nursing Leadership experience
- Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation, or Acute Care experience
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission, or equivalent)
- Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, quality assurance, and infection prevention
- Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and mentor nursing staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment
