About The Position

Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional pre and post-operative care. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort, utilizing your expertise to monitor and respond to their needs throughout the surgical process.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
Ability to provide exceptional pre and post-operative care
Expertise to monitor and respond to patient needs throughout the surgical process
Ability to conduct thorough assessments
Ability to monitor and document patient status
Ability to carry out prescribed treatments and physician orders
Ability to provide clear post-operative instructions
Ability to conduct follow-up phone calls
Ability to maintain accurate operating room logs
Ability to monitor the sterile field
Ability to assist anesthesia, scrub, and medical personnel
Ability to prepare and check OR equipment, supplies, and medications.

Previous experience in a surgical center.

Responsibilities

Admit patients, conduct thorough assessments, and prepare them for surgery.
Receive patients from surgery, evaluate their needs, and provide attentive post-operative care.
Monitor and document patient status, ensuring clear and concise records.
