About The Position

The Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Family Medicine Care team, responsible for a range of duties including phone triage, patient education, appointment scheduling, managing prior authorizations, processing prescription refills, handling referrals, and coordinating care. This role offers a hybrid work schedule after initial training, combining onsite work at the Kokomo office with remote work from home.

Requirements

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Nice To Haves

• Three years or more of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
• Phone triage experience a plus.
• EPIC experience a plus.
