Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery - Days
About The Position
Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October. This position is for a Registered Nurse in Naperville, IL, working part-time (30 hrs/wk) with hours from 9:30a to 10p M-F, including weekend rotation and 4-5 call shifts per year. The role involves rendering professional nursing care, employing critical thinking skills to assess patients' condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients' progress, and record pertinent observations. The nurse will also delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
Responsibilities
- Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
- Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.
- Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
- Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
