About The Position
The Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery - PMs position is a full-time role located in Arlington Heights. The hourly pay rate ranges from $36.00 to $55.80, determined by factors such as candidate expertise and years of experience. The nurse will report to a Clinical Manager or designee and utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in patient care, revising plans as needed. Practice must align with physician orders, hospital policies, the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an Associate’s degree, or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification for basic life support provider through the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient outcomes.
- Revises plans of care as indicated.
- Practices in accordance with physician orders, established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and the ANA Code of Ethics.
