Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery - Days
About The Position
This position involves providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care, including patients and families as appropriate. The role requires maintaining regulatory compliance in individual practice, assuming responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care, and making decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. The nurse will also guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
- IL RN License
- CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association
- Basic Computer Skills
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- 6 mths RN experience in comparable role

- Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
