About The Position

Join Community Health Network, a community-focused organization with over 60 years of history, dedicated to providing exceptional care. As part of the Community MD Anderson Cancer Center partnership, we are integrating cancer services with MD Anderson, a global leader in cancer care. The Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Oncology Head & Neck Care team. This role involves phone triage, patient education, scheduling imaging and testing, monitoring orders, managing referrals, care coordination, and assisting with rooming patients as needed. The position is initially onsite at the North Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the potential for some remote work after training is completed, depending on provider schedules.

Requirements

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Nice To Haves

  • One year or more of nursing experience preferred but might consider newer grads if already licensed as a registered nurse.
  • Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
  • EPIC experience a plus.
