About The Position

This role involves leading holistic patient care by implementing, monitoring, and adapting individualized care plans to improve clinical outcomes. The nurse will champion multidisciplinary collaboration as the primary coordinator across medical teams, ensuring seamless, well-communicated, and patient-centered care. They will advocate for patient safety by accurately assessing conditions, executing physician orders, and communicating vital updates to the healthcare team in real time. Additionally, the nurse will drive successful patient transitions by proactively assessing and coordinating comprehensive discharge plans that support long-term recovery and reduce readmissions.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
At least a year of acute care bedside experience.
