Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care, Full-Time
About The Position
Newberry Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care to join their exceptional team. Located in Newberry County, SC, Newberry Health is a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital recognized with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. The Registered Nurse working in the operating room and the recovery room will have the knowledge of current trends and techniques in perioperative nursing as evidenced by the credentialing of the department. The RN must work effectively with the physicians, patients and peers possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy. The RN must demonstrate leadership and possess the ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least six months nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of perioperative experience preferred.
